Perched on the outer west coast of Vancouver Island, BMSC provides access to a remarkable diversity of marine, terrestrial, freshwater and cultural sites of the North East Pacific basin. With 3000 sq m of modern laboratory space it can support research in almost any field of study for all member and non-member users.
Each student will be assigned to a painting group at the start of the retreat. You'll have the chance to paint with all three Master Instructors during your stay.
There will be ample opportunity to paint in your group and by yourself, receive training from our excellent instructors, and socialize with fellow artists in the evenings.
Buchanan lodge will be our home base for the 2022 retreat. Each room is shared occupancy, two to a room. If you'd like to stay with a friend, be sure to email firstname.lastname@example.org with your room share request, after making your booking.
