Improving value and composition is a foundational way for developing
artists to level up their painting. This course is suitable for both beginner and intermediate artists who are looking to level up core composition and value skills. Dominique will be using oil paints, but you are welcome to use either oil or acrylics.

Learn how to create textures and surfaces such as glass or fabric. The items in the composition are familiar. Pastels are very effective when building your painting, subtly blending your colors, and creating depth, drama, and light. This is where you feel in control of your choices and application.
