Workshop Overview (6 Sessions):
Our artistic heritage is largely built upon the legacy of the forefathers of western art.
Their figurative masterworks remain iconic examples for us to learn from. Through
analysis we develop our visual understanding. Through imitation, we grow and stretch
our creative ability and artistic voice.
In this 6 WEEK TRADITIONAL DRAWING WORKSHOP, you will first tour great
museums and collections and learn to interpret, design and express your artistic voice in
new and different ways. Then, using similar life resources, you will stand in the
proverbial shoes of great masters to stretch beyond your comfort zone to iron out
solutions to complex visual challenges. In this culturally rich program you will enjoy
learning valuable drawing skills and acquaint yourself quite intimately with great masters.
Join the Mark Anthony Traditional Drawing Workshop entitled: FROM MASTERCOPY
TO MASTERFUL INTERPRETATIONS FROM LIFE. All 6 sessions will include full
demonstrations from a blank page. Artists of all levels are welcome to join this hands-on
workshop.
